Lead By Example

Lead By Example It is a MUST to train and play an athlete to their strengths and not yours. A common mistake made in coaching is to have an autocratic approach to leadership/coaching. If you are to grow as coach and have your athletes and peers respect you please just listen, learn and train others under their personalities and traits not yours! -   (Thanks to @ultimate_advantage for the great quote) -Stay Strong  Tom (@tombarrywsbb)

Don't believe the hype. Research the current injury rate of whatever coach/system/team/athlete you follow. Injuries will happen in sports. So whatever discipline you follow for training PLEASE make sure it's not going to increase your chances of this happening. Injuries happen. How substantial the injury is will be dictated by the strength training leading up that event. Remember unstressed tissue does not have a high load bearing capacity compared to tissue stressed via structured training. And as @jquintnmt states that could be the difference from a Grade 1 strain to a Grade 3 Rupture.-Tom (@tombarrywsbb)#strength101 #westsidebarbell #westsideforsports#WestsideForAthletes #conjugatemethod#conjuagtenation #conjugatesystem#fitness #mma...
