We've received a good number of questions on if we warm-up/stretch/foam roll/or activate before the main lift.
While at Westside we do not go do dynamic or conventional 'warm-ups', laid out above is what some do in preparation for a max deadlift variation. It is not a bodyweight warm-up, but rather moving light weight (by way of the sled and ATP) which in turn builds GPP and slight conditioning. This way for the lifter/athlete, we can achieve multiple goals at one time.
*it is important to note, this is a not part of the training session, and being such is not included in the typical 1 hour limit.
